The show has been sharing insights with students and educators through researched, conversational episodes since 2020. 16:1 has connected thousands of listeners in countries around the world and has been used as a classroom resource for dozens of teacher education and leadership programs. Created and hosted by Chelsea Adams and Katie Day, the podcast has featured expert guest educators, policy makers and analysts, and leading educational reformers. 16:1 releases new episodes every other week.
Meet the hosts:
Chelsea Adams is a technologist and entrepreneur with a strong foundation in liberal arts, holding a degree from St. John’s College in Annapolis and a Master's in Philosophy and Education from Teachers College, Columbia University.
Katie Day is an educational researcher, a Holocaust scholar, and a veteran high school English teacher from Central Ohio, with a Bachelor’s degree in English from Muskingum University and a Master of Arts in English from Ohio University.
